Hi! Welcome to SDB! I'm Sarah, I fell in love with beauty at age 12, when i recieved a mascara for christmas and by 13 I was doing makeup on family and friends. At 17 I qualified in Makeup Artistry and decided I wanted to give other bits in the beauty industry a go. In September 2018 I saw a video on facebook of someone doing eyelash extensions and i decided to explore starting to do them, I quickly decided to take a course and open up a beauty salon from home by renting a cabin. At the end of 2018 I decided to take a chance and make it my full time job. By the end of 2019 I had expanded my sevices from just makeup and classic eyelash extensions to adding in pre made volume, brows, tints, henna and spray tans. I've since spent the last 2 years improving techniques, products and overall service. In june 2021 I was trained in flat lash volume by Renee Mikklesen from seriously lashes in Australia. I now exclusively use flat lashes and the Seriously lashes technique for hand made russian volume. In 2022 my family and I decided to move just outside of Pirongia - About half way between Pirongia and Otorohanga. Mainly to escape the city life but also to start our family. After a long fertility Journey and rough pregnancy we welcomed our Handsome baby boy in August 2023. I am SO excited to finally be a mum and just proved how much i LOVE what i do. Making people feel beautiful in the manic day to day life is so meaningful to me. I cannot wait to see where the next few years of SDB takes me. I'm forever learning, Improving and loving what I do.

Policies
Deposits & Booking
A 50% deposit is required to secure all appointments.
For services under $40, full payment is required at the time of booking. This will act as your deposit.
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, and deposits ensure this time is protected.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Appointments may be rescheduled up to two times only, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
Changes made within 24 hours, no-shows, or repeated rescheduling will result in the loss of your deposit.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time to ensure the best result for your service.
If you are late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and your deposit may be forfeited.
No-Shows
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in loss of your deposit.
Repeat no-shows may require full payment upfront for future bookings.
Infill Appointments
Infill appointments require at least 50% of lash extensions remaining.
If less than 50% remains, your appointment will be charged as a full set.
Guests & Children
Children are absolutely welcome, as long as they’re able to sit calmly throughout your appointment.
As I’m unable to supervise while working, please keep in mind that if this becomes difficult, we may need to pause or reschedule your appointment.
Results & Aftercare
Results can vary depending on natural lashes, skin type, and aftercare.
Following aftercare advice is essential to maintain your results. I’m always happy to guide you through this.
Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse service if I feel it is not suitable, unsafe, or not in the best interest of your natural lashes or skin.
My Commitment to You
If I ever need to reschedule your appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative, your deposit will be refunded in full.
